#9 Finding the Feeds

Of all the choices listed for this step, I think Topix.net got me the closest to the sites I wanted to add to my blogroll. Technorati was the most confusing with lousy subject headings. Syndic8 I liked a little more because of its bare bones presentation of feeds and other information but it was still to sparse for what I expected. Finally, Topix.net got me some subjects that were close to what I wanted and from there I was able to hone in on particular web sites and locate their XML button. Phew!

The good thing is that since weblogs are so popular, it isn't too hard to locate a site that uses this tool. I'll keep my eyes open for more directory type listings of feeds, for sure!
